Rustam Minnikhanov meets SIBUR Management Board member Pavel Lyakhovich and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Polyplastik Group Company Lev Gorilovsky

On 15 May  at their meeting on the sidelines of the XVI International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum” at the Kazan Exhibition Center, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the  SIBUR Management Board member Pavel Lyakhovich and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Polyplastik Group Company Lev Gorilovsky  discussed such issues as the implementation of the “Warm Country” project and the development of a comprehensive approach to the programme of the communal structure modernization.

In September 2024 the SIBUR announced that it starts the “Warm Country” project the idea of which is to substantially increase heat savings and the meeting Rustam Minnikhanov was shown the concept and steps already taken within the project framework.

Thus Lev Gorilovsky informed:” It is extremely important to takes into consideration the efficient use of finances when implementing facilities and to use those solutions which will make it possible to avoid additional financing of the one the same infrastructure facilities. It is necessary to introduce norms to take into consideration the evaluation of the pipes life cycle.” He clarified that polymer pipes are not subject to corrosion and overgrowth and require up to 5 times less regular repair and operating costs which substantially decreases long term expenses and what is more their life cycle is more than 100 years, “This should be taken into consideration at the state level when considering solutions of their use in large infrastructural projects,” Lev Gorilovky concluded.

Tatarstan Minister of Construction, architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin and the Director General of the Tatneftekhiminvest-holding Rafinad Yarillin also took part in the meeting.
