Civil funeral ceremony of Almaz Akhmetshin held in Al-Marjani Mosque in Kazan

On 14 May Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, the Governor of Smolenks region Vasiliy Anokhin, the Russian Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Irek Fayzullin, the Chairman of the State Council of the republic Farid Mukhamtshin and other regional officials took part in a civil funeral ceremony of Almaz Akhmetshin held in Al-Marjani Mosque in Kazan.

Speaking at the ceremony, Aleksey Pesoshin expressed his condolences to the family of the diseased having stressed his great contribution into the development of the republic, while Irek Fayzullin said: “Almaz (Salimovish) gained huge respect when he worked as the Head of Nurlat region and the bright memory of him will remain in our hearts.”.
