Rustam Minnikhanov: We are having a large scale event – KazanForum ahead

On 10 May the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov gave an errand to hold the coming large forums in the republic at the highest level and to ensure coordinated work of hospitality and transport facilities, paying special attention to issues of safety.

He stated that on 9 May our republic together with the whole country celebrated the 80th anniversary of the great Victory. “We are having a large scale event – the International Economic Forum Russia the Islamic World: KazanForum ahead and expecting delegates from 100 countries. Very serious representation, solid speakers,” the Rais of the republic said.

He also informed about the XV All-Russia Forum of Tatar religious leaders “National identity and religion” to be held on 16-18 May in Kazan with participation of more than 1 thousand people from more than 70 regions of the country. This is the largest congress of Muslim clergy in Russia aimed at strengthening the unity , exchange of experience and discussions of burning issues of Islamic life in the multi-national country which will have a solemn event “Izge Bolgar zhiyene” in the Ancient town of Bolgar” on 18 May, Rustam Minnikhanov said.

“The most important thing is to ensure safety during these events,” he emphasized.
