Rustam Minnikhanov meets WWII veteran Kharis hazrat Salikhov

On 8 May at his meeting with Kharis hazrat Salikhov  in the Government house of the republic held with participation of the Chief of the Office of the Rais of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated the WWII veteran with the 80th Anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic was and wished him good health. 
Kharis Salikhov went to the front in 1944 when he was 17 years old and was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War of II Degree and more than 30 other awards. After the war he worked in law-enforcement bodies in Moscow and Kazan and is known to the broader community of the republic as a spiritual mentor who studies issues of the relationship between Islam and science and literature.
