Rustam Minnikhanov meets Uzbekistan President

On 28, speaking at his meeting with Uzbekistan President Sahvkat Mirziyoyev in Tashkent, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who came on a working trip to Uzbekistan, thanked Sahvkat Mirziyoyev for his continuous support of all projects and personal attention to cooperation with Tatarstan. He said that last year the trade turnover between two republics increased by 2 per cent and exceeded 376m dollars US. 

The parties of the meeting also discussed the implementation of two projects, namely the construction of industrial sites in Bukhara and Navoi regions. “These landmark Tatarstan-Uzbekistan joint projects are a good contribution into the cooperation of our countries,” Rustam Minnikhanov said and told that the day before he visited both sites and checked the construction progress.
