Rustam Minnikhanov meets Hokim of Bukhara region Botir Zaripov

On 27 April during his working trip to Uzbekistan the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the Hokim of Bukhara region Botir Zaripov, where the parties discussed the progress of the project on construction of the Special Industrial Park and the issues of attracting investors.

Speaking at the meeting, the Rais of the republic stated that the project in under the personal supervision of the President and the Prime Minister of the country. “Special sphere of our trade and investment cooperation is the implementation of joint project of establishment of industrial parks. Thus with the participation of the Khimgrad Company (Tatarstan) we have already launched  the chemical industrial technical park Chirchik and the technical park Dzizak which are working successfully,” he said and emphasized that the same special attention is attached to the current projects in Bukhara and Navoi.

Rustam Minnikhanov said that it is important to develop the complete ecosystem so that an investor chooses this site. In addition he proposed to study what import is coming to Uzbekistan as this will help to attract investors in this particular sphere and to manufacture products on site.

Botir Zaripov thanked Rustam Minnikhanov for his personal attention to the projects and said: “Your every visit opens new opportunities for us. All team works hard to attract investors and we will develop a business-plan taking into consideration your today’s recommendations.”
