Rustam Minnikhanov holds a meeting of Supervisory Council of SEZ Alabuga

On 18 April in the Special Economic Zone of Alabuga, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov hold a meeting of the Zone Supervisory Council where the Director General of the Zone Timur Shagivaleev told about the SEZ development strategy by 2040.

Speaking at the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that Alabuga is one of the leaders among special economic zones of Russia and comprises 43 unique import-replacement productions with the companies’ revenues reaching 238bn rubles.

The total amount of investments has reached 179bn rubles and more than 25 thousand jobs have been created. Alabuga provides the whole complex of modern infrastructure to its residents and implements a project Alabuga Polytech which is the largest educational center in Russia with the planned capacity of 10thousand students a year.
