On November 12 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited academic and laboratory building of the Institute of fundamental medicine and biology, Institute of geology and petroleum technologies at Kazan Federal University.

At the Institute of fundamental medicine and biology Rustam Minnikhanov was told about research infrastructure and prospects of new research areas.

The Institute of geology and petroleum technologies is a successor of Geology Department of Kazan Federal University. For two-century history Kazan school of geology has become internationally recognized. Rustam Minnikhanov looked around lecture halls and spoke to students.
