Rustam Minnikhanov visits a new mosque Kamil opened in Kazan

On 11 April the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited a new Kamil Mosque opened in the Volga district of Kazan today. After Friday prayer held by the Mufti of the republic Kamil Samigullin, Rustam Minikhanov looked round the facilities of the mosque, its interior and the prayer room and congratulated the congregation with the important event.

He thanked everyone - including organizers, builders and philanthropists - who took part in the construction of the mosque and expressed his hope that it will serve the believers.

Close to the mosque there is a building with an ablution room, the imam’s office, the women’s prayer room and a spring. 
The mosque minaret is the exact copy of the unique architectural monument of the 14 century in Bolgar – the Small Minaret.
