Tatarstan Ministry of Construction: Works on capital repair start in 141 multi-apartment houses in 8 municipalities of the republic

On March 29, speaking at a regional meeting held in the Government House of the republic by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported on the implementation of regional and federal programmes for the repair of hydrotechnical structures, apartment buildings and socio-cultural facilities.

Tatarstan Minister of Construction said that the education sector is undergoing the most extensive work, this year the number of repaired facilities makes 213.

As many as 9 of 11 kindergardens are being overhauled.

Ayzatullin said that 7 resource centers are being overhauled, the overall implementation makes 13 per cent.

The second major industry is healthcare. In healthcare, 226 facilities are included in capital repair programmes, including 117 obstetric stations: 68 facilities are in operation. The remaining 40 facilities are scheduled to start in mid-April.

In the cultural sector, 27 facilities are included in the regional and federal programmes, most of them are rural Houses of Culture. Overall completeness is estimated at 28 per cent.

During the meeting, the minister focused on construction work and major repairs of other social facilities. Thus, in the youth sector, 34 facilities will be overhauled under the federal and regional programmes in 2025.

Major repair programmes are also being implemented through the regional ministries – Tatarstan Ministry of Social Labor, the Ministry of Forestry, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Sports.

Ayzatullin also reported on the major repair programme of multi-apartment houses. Work has started in 141 multi-apartment houses in 8 municipalities.
