Rustam Minnikhanov: “30th anniversary of Tatarstan State Council is a milestone event for the whole republic”

On 28 March, speaking at a session of the State Council of the republic of the seventh convocation, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated current members and old stagers of the regional parliament with its 30th anniversary and said: “
30th anniversary of Tatarstan State Council is a milestone event for the whole republic.”
He said that these 30 years witnessed the establishment of the reliable legal foundation of parliamentarism, and traditions of high professionalism, responsibility and unity. “These principles have become an inseparable part of work of members of all convocations, having preserved succession of generations,” the Rais of the republic emphasized.  
He said that a special role in the establishment of the Tatarstan parliamentarism was played by the State Counselor of the republic and its first President Mintimer Shaimiev  who managed not only to overcome challenges of time but  also to lay reliable foundations for sustainable development. 
Rustam Minnikhanov also expressed his gratitude to the parliamentary corps and the Chairman of the Council Farid Mukhametshin for their substantial contribution into the advanced economic development and social and political stability of the republic. ”We can say for sure that today the State Council of the republic expresses the will of multi-ethnic population of Tatarstan and protects and fights for interests of the republic and its citizens,” he said.
Rustam Minnikhanov also spoke about special meaning of tasks of the Parliament of supporting the special military operation and thanked the members and its old stagers of the regional Parliament for their conscientious service to Tatarstan in the interests of the multi-ethnic population of the republic and a big contribution into the development of the legislative system of the republic. In conclusion of the session he handed in state awards of the republic.
