Rustam Minnikhanov: State Council plays enormous role in the development of our republic and the country in the whole

On 27 March in his address on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of work of Tatarstan State Council, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated members and old stagers of the Council and residents of the republic with the event and said:

“The last 30 years witnessed the establishment of the reliable legal foundation of parliamentarism and creation of conditions for social and economic development of the republic as a dynamically growing basic region of Russia.

All these years the State Council  - and this is not exaggeration - has been playing an enormous role in the development of our republic and the country in the whole, in improvement of the legislative base, solution of key tasks of economy and social sphere, science, education, healthcare and culture. Members of all convocations of the Council have always prioritized interests of people, their problems and expectations and used their efforts to support veterans, pensioners, families with many children and the youth.

Today, when our country has encountered the global challenges, the active support of members of the Tatarstan parliament provided to participant of the special military operation and their families and veterans deserves the deepest respect.

I am sure your competencies, succession, responsible approach to issues and constructive interaction with the executive power bodies, Chambers of the Russian Federal Assembly and public amalgamations will continue to allow you to work conscientiously, to strictly fulfill the duties assigned to you for the benefit of our multinational Fatherland.”
