Rustam Minnikhanov meets Ak Bars hockey team on the eve of the KHL play-off season

On 24 March at the Tatneft-Arena ice sports palace in Kazan the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with athletes and coaches of the Ak Bars hockey team on the eve of the KHL (Kontinental Hockey League) play-off season 2024-2025 - the Gagarin Cup competition 2025.

Speaking at the meeting, the Rais of the republic reminded that such meetings with Ak Bars team have already become a tradition. “The season was rather difficult but you managed to solve the task. Now we are in the play off and starting everything from a scratch. We have a decent rival   and should understand that they are the same guys as you and have the same fans. However you must also understand that the whole republic and we all are always with you both during your victories and mishaps,” he said and wished athletes of the republic good luck – to avoid injuries and asked them to demonstrate a beautiful play.
