Rustam Minnikhanov: Today there are all necessary resources for increasing our trade turnover with Vietnam

On 21 during his working trip to Hanoi, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry Truong Thanh Hoaim where he said that the current trade turnover is rather modest and there are resources for its increase in particular in such spheres as oil refinery, power industry, machine-building, IT and high technologies. 

“Our delegation comprises heads of ministries and directorates and leading companies of the republic. We hope that during out visit our businessmen will find new spheres for developing contacts and agree about joint projects,”  the Rais of the republic said. 

In his turn Truong Thanh Hoaim emphasized that cooperation with regions of Russia has its historical value. “Vietnamese people will never forget help of the Soviet Union in the years which were difficult for our country. We have a great capacity for cooperation with Russian regions. I am sure this visit will become a mighty impetus for the development of relations between Vietnam and Russia in the whole,” he said. 

In conclusion of the meeting the parties agreed to exchange business delegations.
