Rais of Tatarstan gives an errand to ensure readiness of resources for flooding prevention

On 7 March, speaking at a regular meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov gave an errand to ensure readiness of resources for flooding prevention.

The beginning of spring brings risks of flooding of roads, yards, territories round houses and falling down of snow and ice from the roofs which creates a real hazard for safety of people and property, he said.

Rustam Minnikhanov gave an errand to managing companies, communal services and facilities owners to remove out snow from streets and yards of multi-apartment houses, to ramp up snow and ice removal from roofs of residential houses, social and commercial facilities and other high rise buildings. “The heads should have this issues under their personal control, “ he emphasized and added that all equipment and water removal drainage systems should be on stand-by.
