Tatarstan Ministry of Construction: It is planned to carry out capital overhaul of 911 multi-apartment houses in 2025

On 1 March, speaking at a regular meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin informed that in the current year it is planned to carry out capital overhaul of 911 multi-apartment houses in 42 municipalities of the republic. He said that the elevators’ replacement will be done in 234 of them and 688 will undergo general construction work.

The regional Minister also informed about capital overhaul of education facilities, including schools, kindergartens and catering units, the work to be done on healthcare, youth policy and culture facilities, 13 children’s summer camps, social protection and 22 facilities by the Ecology project.

Having informed participants of the meeting about work to be done in the sphere of forestry economy, agribusiness administration buildings and other regional programmes, Marat Ayzatullin reported about utility payments and debts of enterprises and organizations for the supplied energy resources. He also informed that monitoring of citizens’ payments show low collection rate in the beginning of the year with the increase in the second half of the year.

Marat Ayzatullin also informed that gas arrears of organizations of the housing and communal services complex amounted to nearly 229m rubles of gas arrears and 15m 831 thousand rubles for electricity as of 1 February 2025.  However, he said arrears for heating to the Tatenergo Company decreased by 7m 552 thousand rubles and made 147m 745 thousand he said.
