On November 7 Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly Valentina Matvienko, who arrived in Kazan with a working visit, was met by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Chairman of State Council Farid Mukhametshin at Kazan international airport.

Valentina Matvienko came to Kazan to hold a field meeting of the Council on issues of intellectual property “The role of Russian regions in development of the market of intellectual rights” (Kazan City Hall).

In the afternoon Valentina Matvienko will take part in International forum “Intellectual property and economy of Russian regions” (IT park), have a conversation with Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, and visit the island town of Sviyazhsk.
