Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in the VII session of Tatarstan State Council

On 20 February the Rais (Head) of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov, the Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin, the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Asgat Safarov, members of the regional Government and other officials took part in the VII session of Tatarstan State Council held by the Chairman of the Council Farid Mukhametshin.

The agenda of the meeting included 25 issues and the first to take floor was the Internal Minister for Tatarstan Damir Satretdinov who reported about work of the regional police in 2024 and said that the republic keeps being one of the safest regions in Russia. He said that record low number of offences against the person, life and health were registered last year. He also informed that the number of murders and intended bodily harms dropped by one forth and there were fewer cases of robbery, flat thefts and car hitchhiking.

At the same time the average number of crime with use of IT grew from 48 to 57 percent “with the total losses having exceeded 5bn 720m rubles,” he said.

The regional Minister informed that last year there were more than 22 thousand of migration legislation violations with more than 4 thousand foreigners having been deported outside Russia. 

The members of the Council and the invited guests also listened to the report of work of the Tatarstan Ombudsman in 2024 and the report on implementation of the Priority -2030 programme by Kazan Federal University.
