Tatarstan Government and Rosneft sign an agreement on cooperation

On 11 February the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Chief Executive Director of the Rosneft Company Igor Sechin signed an agreement on cooperation which envisages joint actions of the parties in the development of import replacement and mastering the manufacture of new high-tech technique and technologies.

The implementation of the agreement will facilitate the increase of share of high tech products manufactured by Tatarstan enterprises at the Rosneft facilities and the expansion of produce for oil and gas complexes.

The Government of the republic and the Rosneft have also agreed to interact in the spheres of manufacture, procurement and use of modern cementitious materials for the development of road infrastructure of the republic, lubricants and special fluids for industrial enterprises and transport.

The Rosneft will also support the development of industrial capacity of the republic and facilitate career guidance of young people and the development of education system of Tatarstan for training qualified blue-collar workers and engineers for the oil and gas industry

The parties will also cooperate in energy saving and energy efficiency spheres.
