Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in a ceremony of handing in a scientific award “The Scientific Breakthrough”

On 11 February, speaking at a ceremonial meeting dedicated to the Days of Science of Russia held in the Bashir Rameev IT Park in Kazan, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov  said: “May the creative mood and strive for progress for the good of the domestic science never leave you. Thank you for your hard but very important work.”

He reminded that the republic has completed the establishment of the integrated model of managing scientific and scientific technological work with the key role in this process played by the Academy of Sciences of the republic.

Rustam Minnikhanov also told about changes introduced into the Council of the Rais of the republic on Science and Education and the State Programme of the Scientific and Technological development.

Having informed about financial support provided by the government to scientists and participation of regional universities in the national project “Science and Universities”,  the Rais of the republic emphasized: “The republic keeps its position among the first three leaders of the National ranking in scientific and technological development of the federation entities.”

In conclusion of his speech, Rustam Minnikhanov once again congratulated everyone with the Day of Science of Russia and handed in awards to the winners of the Scientific Breakthrough competition.
