Rustam Minnikhanov: Tatarstan attaches special attention to the development of science and technologies

On 8 February, speaking at a regional meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan attaches special attention to the development of science and technologies. 

Today Russia celebrates the Day of Russian Science and Rustam Minnikhanov stated that a lot of work was done in the republic during 2024 which was announced the Year of Scientific and Technological development of the republic. “Yesterday in the Kazan Kremlin we handed in high state awards to the most outstanding scientists and researchers,” he told and informed that on 11 February it is planned to have a celebrative event dedicated to the Day of Science. 

The Rais of the republic also reminded that in the current year the republic celebrates the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Kazan Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences and listed the names of outstanding scientists such as Korolev, Glushko, Kapitsa and Kurchatov who worked  there in different periods of history of the center. 

“I congratulate all our academicians, scientists, doctoral students, the university faculties and all those who work for the good of science and progress with their professional holiday. We will keep helping scientific communities. Science, technology and people are our competitive advantage,” he added.
