Rustam Minnikhanov about All-Russia Municipalities Forum: Exchange of experience and best practices will facilitate improvement of our work

On 1 February, speaking at a regional meeting held with participation of regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and the Chairman of the State Council of the republic Farid Mukhametshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov reminded that regional days of the II All Russia Municipalities Forum ”The small Motherland” were held successfully in Kazan on 29-20 January.

“I think that exchange of experience and best practices will facilitate improvement of our work in developing the comfortable living environment. It was a big event and there has been no such attention given to municipalities in history of new Russia. Currently there are support and interest to municipalities and we express only words of gratitude to the leadership of the country,” he said

The Rais of the republic also told about the ceremony of awarding war veterans with jubilee medals “80th  anniversary of Victory in The Great Patriotic War 1941-1945”  held in the Kazan Kremlin on 31 January and reminded that on 2 February the country will celebrate another Day of Military Honor of Russia dedicated to the defeat of German troops at Stalingrad.

He also told that on 7 February Tatarstan will celebrate the Day of National Coat of Arms of the republic.
