Rustam Minnikhanov hands in Diplomas for the best New Year Decorations to winners of XII regional competition among municipalities

On 1 February, speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov  with participation of regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and the Chairman of the State Council of the republic Farid Mukhametshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Chairman of the Public Chamber of the republic Zilya Valeeva  told about results of the XII regional competition among municipalities and organizations of the republic for the best New Year event and holiday decorations.

She informed that 42 municipalities and two urban districts took part in the competition, having nine nominations and one special prize, and the competition commission chose 14 winners and 44 prize takers.

Giving his comments about the competition results, Rustam Minnikhanov said that every municipality and enterprise should take part in it as it is not members of commission who need the New Year decorations but people who live in rural settlements, municipalities and at this area. He also reminded that New Year holidays are the longest ones when whole families, schoolchildren and young people spend time together.

In conclusion the Rais of the republic handed in diplomas to first place winners in various nominations.
