Chief of Staff of the Office of the Rais of Tatarstan Asgat Safarov takes part in a resulting collegium of regional Tatmedia Information Agency

On 29 January the Chief of Staff of the Officd of the Rais (Head) of TAtarstan Asgat Safarov and the Chairman of the regional State Council Farid Mukhametshin took part in an expanded meeting of the resulting collegium of the Regional Publishing and Mass Communications Agency Tatmedia held in the IT Park in Kazan.

Speaking at the collegium, Asgat Safarov said that in modern history of Russia Tatarstan has many times become the focus of interest from the world society and a venue for large international events. The information interest to the republic still exists so it is important to ramp up communication with foreign audience, he said.

“It is necessary to demonstrate real life of Russian population and strengthen international ties. It is also important to use these opportunities for clear and accurate translation of our way of life, values and achievements,” Asgat Safarov said.

He also said that replication of drone attacks video and publication of technical illuminating of plants misinterpreted as fire is irresponsible and stated that such publications help the enemy causing danger to lives of people and causing harm to the infrastructure of the republic. “Your motto should be as follows – be the voice of truth, do this responsibly and with the care of people,” Asgat Safarov emphasized.

In his turn Farid Mukhametshin said: “Your task is to tell and show timely and truly the events being implemented in Tatarstan to our four million population,” and gave a positive estimation to the work of the Tatmedia Agency.
