Aleksey Pesoshin takes part in resulting collegium of the National Guard Troops in Tatarstan

On 20 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, the Chief Federal Inspector for Tatarstan Viktor Demidov, representatives of interacting bodies, commanders and heads of the units of the Directorate took part in a resulting collegium of the National Guard Troops in Tatarstan that discussed results of the service of the Directorate in 2024 and set forth tasks for the coming period.

In his summarizing report the Head of the Headquarters Sergey Yakushev, who is also the Deputy Head of the Directorate in the republic, informed that the staff of the Directorate took part in provision of public order and safety during large events held in the republic, such as the XVI BRICS summit, the Games of the Future, Russia-the Islamic world: KazanForum, the Russia presidential elections.

He also informed about work, such as withdrawal of fire arms from illegal circulation, finding and disarming explosives and preventing terrorist and extremist crimes, fulfilled by the special task units in 2024 both in the republic and in other regions and at the special military operation

Sergey Yakushev also informed about work done by the extra-departmental guards in protecting state facilities and public places as well as property of physical and legal entities and controlling the public order in Kazan, provision of transport infrastructure safety during large political, public, religious and sports events and prevention of illegal fishing on water bodies of the republic.

In his turn Aleksey Pesoshin said: “Issues of provision of population safety has been and will always be a priority and units of the National Guard Troops Directorate in Tatarstan always show their high professional skills.,” and added  the work should be continued.
