Rustam Minnikhanov at a meeting with “Dynamo-Ak Bars”: Due to your victories and achievements volleyball is quickly developing in Tatarstan

On 14 January in the Kazan Kremlin the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov , the Chairman of the State Council of the republic Farid Mukhametsin, who is the President of the regional Federation of Volleyball and the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Rais of the republic Asgat Safarov, who is the Chairman of the Dynamo Fitness and Sports Society, took part in an event of commending the female volleyball club Dynamo Ak-Bars, who won the Russia volleyball Cup in 2024. 

Speаking at the ceremony the Rais of the republic stated that the athletes won the Russian Cup for the eighth time and emphasized: ”When struggling for the trophy you have demonstrated a bright and tough play, the highest sports skills, the team spirit and the desire to win. We closely followed your plays and had a terrific time watching them.” 

He stressed that today volleyball is one of the most mass and public kinds of sports with more than 47 500 people doing it. “Due to your victories and achievements volleyball is quickly developing in Tatarstan and gains more and more fans. It goes without saying that you are icons for many boys and girls doing this kind of sports,” he said. 

Having once again congratulated the team with its victory, the Rais of the republic handed them in the Letter of Appreciation from the Rais of Tatarstan. In her turn the Captain of the team Anastasiya Anufriyenko handed in a memorable medal to Rustam Minnikhanov and the Chief Coach Zoran Terzich thanked the republic for having created all conditions for training and development of athletes.
