Tatarstan Ministry of Agriculture: More than 40bn rubles on spring field work are needed in the republic

On 11 January, speaking at a regular regional meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic, the regional Minister of Food and Agriculture Marat Zyabbarov said that the republic needs more than 40bn rubles on spring field work. 

He clarified that a considerable part of the money is accrued to mineral fertilizers as on average there are 200 thousand tonnes of fertilizers in stock for the 2025 harvest. Marat Zyabbarov also informed that the Rais of the republic has decided to allocate 1bn 175m rubles of state support on procurement of mineral fertilizers, and the first subsidy applications will be considered already in the beginning of March.

He also reported about monitoring the condition of winter crops and informed that the branch of the Rosselkhoztcenter (Russian Agricultural Center) is carrying out the check of seeds and monitoring the quality of imported seeds.
