Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in the sixth session of the Tatarstan State Council of the seventh convocation

On 23 December the Rais (head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin, members of the regional State Duma and Russian senators, heads of branch ministries and directorates and municipalities took part in the sixth session of the Tatarstan State Council of the seventh convocation held by the Chairman of the Council of the republic Farid Mukhametshin. 

The agenda of the meeting consists of 24 items including 7 regional and 4 federal draft laws and two legislative initiatives of Russian entities.

In the beginning of the session Rustam Minnikhanov thanked Farid Mukhametshin for having been the head of the regional Parliament for 30 years and for his fruitful work. “You are a kind of our brand name. There is no such thing anywhere else in Russia as you have been in the Parliament for 30 years. We have been working together and I have always had your support,” he said.

After the regional Minister of Finance Radik Gayzatullin told that the revenues of Tatarstan in 2024 have grown by 93.7bn rubles, including 84.5bn of both tax and non-tax revenues, and the budget expenses increased by 93.7 bn rubles, the members of the State Council voted for introduction of corresponding amendments into the regional Budget Law.

Thus the budget revenues of the republic in 2024 will reach 578.1bn rubles and its expenses – 579.5bn with the deficit unchanged and making 1.4bn rubles.
