On 16 December, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Volga-Vyatsk Directorate of the Avtodor Ildar Mingazov reported that the construction of four overhead pedestrian crossings built on the M-7 Volga highway in Tatarstan has been completed.
He said that putting these crossings into operation will make it possible to avoid using traffic signals at high speed sections of the M7 highway that are part of the route Moscow-Kazan-Yekaterinburg - Tyumen.
“Today four crossings are ready for operation and the construction of 10 of them will be completed by the end of the current year with eight more to be built in 2025. The total amount of investments has made 3.5bn rubles,” Ildar Mingazov informed.
