Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in a ceremony of gas release in the Village of Nizhnee Afanasovo of Nizhnekamsk municipal region

On 14 December the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov , the Director General of the Gazprom Transgas Kazan Company Rustem Usmanov, the Head of Nizhnekams municipality Ramil Mullin and other officials took part in a ceremony of gas release to nearly 800 private houses in the Village of Nizhnee Afanasovo of Nuzhnekamsk municipal region in the republic.

The programme of social gasification , the start of which was given by Russian President Vladimir Putin in 2021, has already provided gas supply to more than 23 000 households of the republic and has a synergy effect as the developed gas infrastructure creates points of growth for industrial enterprises as well.

In his welcoming speech Rustam Minnikhanov said that the new gas pipeline laid to Nizhnee Afanasovo is one of the largest facilities commissioned by this programme as it is more than 30 kilometers long. He said that the gas pipeline commissioning will substantially improve the life quality of the village residents and thanked Russian President Vladimir Putin and Government of the country for the initiatives focused on the improvement of lives of residents of the country.
