On 7 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a ceremony of awarding winners of the international award “We are together” in the nomination “The Russian entity” handed in for the development of civic society and solution of social problems and held in Moscow Manege.
The awards were handed in by the First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Sergey Kirienko with Tatarstan being the third after Belgorod and Leningrad regions.
The awarding ceremony held in Moscow from 5 to 7 December is the key event of the international forum of civic participation “We are together” which has gathered more than 20 thousand volunteers from more than 40 countries.
Aleksey Pesoshin visited the exposition of Tatarstan and thanked volunteers from the republic for their courage, having said that the work they are doing is very important.
He also took part in a New Year’s charity action “The Fur-tree of Wishes” and will fulfill wishes of two children from Kazan.
