Rais of Tatarstan meets Ambassador of Bahrain to Russia

On 6 December, speaking at his meeting with the Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Russia Ahmed Abdulrahman Mahmoud Ismail Al-Saati in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized: “We attach great attention to the interaction with Bahrain. Leaders of our countries maintain a constant liaison and Tatarstan at its levels tries to make its contribution into the development of cooperation within the framework of Russia-Bahrain relations.” 

He stated that delegations from Bahrain are frequent guests in the republic and take a consistent part in Tatarstan Oil and Gas Forum and the International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum” and also make a valuable contribution into work of the Strategic Vision Group “Russia-Islamic World”. 

In his turn the Ambassador said: “His Royal Highness the King passes you his greetings and the best wishes. He always recalls your meetings in Moscow and Bahrain with warm feelings.”

At the meetings the parties discussed the development of trade and economic cooperation, strengthening bonds in scientific, educational, cultural and tourist spheres as well as the interaction in Islamic banking and financing and Halal industry.
