Rustam Minnikhanov visits Kazan Aircraft Plant and holds meeting of the Board of the Tupolev Company

On 4 December the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting of the Board of the Tupolev Company (the member of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC)of the Rostech State Corporation)  held at Kazan Aircraft Plant with participation of the Russian Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Oleg Bocharov, the Industrial Director of the Rostech Corporation aviation complex Anatoliy Serdyukov, the Director General of the UAC Vadim Badekha, the Managing Director of the Tupolev Company Aleksandr Bobryshev and the Director of Kazan Aircraft Plant Zufar Mirgalimov.

Before the meeting its participants got acquainted with progress of the modernization of the Kazan Plant which undergoes large scale construction work and technical re-equipment of its shops.

Later the same day the meeting considered issues of work of the Tupolev Company, the technical re-equipment and construction, the serial production of TU-214 planes, the recruiting of new specialists and the external cooperation. 

At the meeting Rustam Minnikhanov also handed in a state award to Nikolay Savitskikh who was the head of Kazan Aircraft Plant from 2014 to 2024.
