Rustam Minnikhanov meets Russian Emergencies Minister Aleksandr Kurenkov in Moscow

On 28 November at their meeting in Moscow the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who came to the Russian capital on a working trip, and the Russian Emergencies Minister Aleksandr Kurenkov discussed issues of the development of the infrastructure of the regional Directorate of the Ministry and further cooperation within the framework of the set tasks.

Aleksandr Kurenkov and Rustam Minnikhanov considered opportunities for the improvement of the system of ensuring complex safety of residents of the republic and its territory such as the development of various types of fire protection service, road accidents and other events.

The parties discussed the level of equipment of the service, including modern kinds of technique as in the current year the fire protection services of the republic received more than 25 units of various machinery and next year the regional budget will allocate money on capital overhaul of existing fire stations and construction of new ones. 

At the meeting Rustam Minnikhanov also handed in Aleksandr Kurenkov the Tatarstan state award the Duslyk Order for his substantial contribution into ensuring safety during the events of the XVI BRICS Summit in Kazan.
