Mintimer Shaimiev meets Ruslan Aushev

On 28 November in the Kazan Kremlin the Tatarstan State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev had a meeting with the First President of the Republic of Ingushetia, the Hero of the Soviet Union, the Russian state, military and public leader Ruslan Aushev.

Speaking at the meeting Mintimer Shaimiev congratulated Ruslan Aushev with the highest award of the republic – the Order of Merit for the Republic of Tatarstan which was handed him in by the the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

In his turn Ruslan Aushev thanked Mintimer Shaimiev for his support and cooperation during the difficult post-Perestroika years, for invaluable experience achieved during join work and for strengthening cooperation between Tatarstan and Ingushetia.
