On November 23, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov got acquainted with the progress of construction of the M-7 Volga highway on the bypass of Nizhnekamsk and Naberezhnye Chelny, as well as the road “Alekseevskoe – Almetyevsk highway as part of the toll road Shali (M-7) – Bavly (M-5). The new direction of the M-7 Volga highway is being built under the national project “Safe high-quality roads”.
The bypass will later become part of the high-speed route Kazan - Yekaterinburg – Tyumen.
Then Minnikhanov assessed the construction of a bridge across the Kama River at Nizhnekamsk municipal region and made a detour around the construction of the M-7 Volga highway - a bypass of Nizhnekamsk with a stop at the traffic junction, further - to the bridge over the Kama river.
Minnikhanov looked around the petrol stations located on the highway and representing multifunctional recreation areas. During the conversation with representatives of road enterprises, Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that a state task has been set, and the construction of a bypass of Nizhnekamsk and Naberezhnye Chelny with a bridge across the Kama is an important federal project.
He appreciated the volume of work done.
