Rustam Minnikhanov meets Vice-Governor of Zhejiang Province Li Jiancheng

On 14 November, speaking at his meeting with the Vice-Governor of Zhejiang Province Li Jiancheng on the sidelines of the II Russia-China Cooperation Forum ROSTKI in Kazan, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov stated that in April of the current year he visited the province and thanked for the hospitality given to him. In the city of Changchun he had a meeting with the Governor of the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government Wang Hao and took part in a round table held with participation of business circles. “It is pleasing that a number of companies from your province are taking part at today’s forum I am sure they will find partners here for joint work” the Rais of the republic said. 

He emphasized that the Province is one of the rapidly growing regions of China with developed branches of industry in such spheres as machine building, oil, chemistry and energetics and pharmaceuticals and rich land resources.

“There are a lot of spheres for interaction of our business circles. Logistics issues are very important. There is also a good potential for development of our cooperation in such humanitarian spheres as exhibitions, cultural exchanges, education and science. We should advance our contacts”, Rustam Minnikhanov concluded. 

In his turn Li Jiancheng stated that the Russia-China cooperation is currently at the pinnacle of its development. “We can see that Tatarstan economy demonstrates positive dynamics and stable growth. Your republic has well developed industry, IT sphere and agriculture. There is a huge potential for our interaction. Our task is to use it as efficiently as possible,” he added.
