On November 12, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of Tatarstan, the participants discussed, what the authorities of Tatarstan expect from the 2nd International Forum "ROSTKI", dedicated to cooperation between Russia and China, which will be held in Kazan this week. In addition to the business programme, a fruitful cultural programme is also planned.

The ROSTKI forum was held for the first time in Kazan in September 2023. The Rais of Tatarstan instructed to make the event annual. According to the Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullinna, the upcoming forum, can become even more efficient and large-scale. To date, 10,000 participants have already registered compared to the last year, where there were 7,000 people.

The forum will be held during three days, from November 13 to 15, but the first of them, as they say, is "zero". The dense work of the business community and government representatives will begin at Kazan Expo on November 14, and the plenary session is scheduled for the afternoon of November 15.

Last year, 21 agreements were signed at the forum. Minullina confirmed how the results of the 2023 "ROSTKI" have had a positive impact on the economy, trade of the republic and, of course, on investments in Tatarstan.

The international forum "REBUS" will be held in parallel with "ROSTKI" on November 14 and 15. Like the Russian-Chinese forum, "REBUS" was first held in 2023. This year, its theme will be "Agglomerations: Experience. Opportunities. Challenges".

The Institute of Spatial Planning of Tatarstan will play a key role in the work of the forum, and the director of the institute, Oleg Grigoriev, will be a participant.

“More than 1,200 participants registered for REBUS, and more than 10,000 for ROSTKI. I think there will be enough space and interesting content for everyone, since the topics discussed will be relevant for both Russian and foreign participants,” the Aide to the Rais of Tatarstan Olesya Baltusova said.
