The Rais of Tatarstan visits the new production "Aviation Interiors" in the Khimgrad Technopolis

On November 11, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the new production "Aviation Interiors" in the Khimgrad Technopolis, where he looked around the production line and was informed that last year, the implementation of the investment project on technical reequipment of capacities of «Aviation Interiors» Company in the Khimgrad was launched. The project aims to provide an annual supply of at least 20 sets of interiors for SJ-100 and 36 sets for MS-21.

The Aviation Interiors company manufactures passenger cabin interior kits for the SJ-100, MS-21, Il-114, Tu-214 and Il-96 aircraft. In Tatarstan, production sites are located on the territory of the Kazan International Airport and in the Himgrad Technopolis. Interior kits for the SJ-100 and MS-21 are manufactured in Khimgrad. In 2025, it is planned to release six interior kits for each of them.

Then a working meeting on the further development of the production of Aviation Interiors Company was held. Rustam Minnikhanov highly appreciated the potential of the enterprise. "The country's leadership has set large-scale tasks for the development of aircraft manufacturing; we need to increase the production of aircraft. Having our own interior production is of great importance. The company has big plans for further growth. We will work together," the Rais Tatarstan added.

Today, 373 companies are operating in the Khimgrad Technopolis. As many as 10,686 jobs have been created. Residents' revenue amounted to 80.3 billion roubles in 2023. It is expected that this year the figure will reach 97 billion roubles.
