More than 3m square meters of housing commissioned in Tatarstan – the plan is completed by 97%

On 26 October, speaking at a regional meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov with all municipalities taking part in it via video conference, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin has reported that the total plan of the housing construction in the republic has been completed by 97 per cent with 3m 57 thousand square meters already commissioned.

He also informed about the amount of work done in commercial, social mortgage and individual housing construction and providing accommodation for separate categories of residents such as orphans and families with many children.

Marat Ayzatullin told participants of the meeting about work being done in the spheres of education, healthcare, sports, youth policy and culture and the completion of work by two regional programmes of social facilities construction.

He also informed about situation in the national projects of Ecology and Improvement of Public Spaces as well as about modernization of the engineering infrastructure in the republic.

The regional Minister reported that the work on the federal programme “Modern Look of Rural Territories” has been completed by 99 per cent.

Marat Ayzatullin informed about cases of occupational injuries at construction sites and labour safety measures implemented on them.

In conclusion he informed about checks on labour safety at construction sites carried out since the beginning of the year and measures taken for violations prevention and about readiness of heating grid organizations to the current heating season, having said that as of today three organizations and two municipalities still have not been issued the readiness certificates.
