Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in the forum “Technological Leadership: Business, Science and the State” in Moscow

On November 8, in Moscow, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the forum "Technological Leadership: Business, Science and the State", which was organized by " Delovaya Rossiya" and the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia (AIRR). The event is aimed at expanding the work of authorities and businesses in the field of innovative development of regions, and improving business management in the regions in the field of high technologies. The Chairman of the All-Russian state organization "Delovaya Rossiya" Andrey Repik became the moderator of the session.

Deputy Chief of Staff of the Russian Presidential Executive Office Maksim Oreshkin, Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maksim Reshetnikov, Russian Minister of Science and Technology Valery Falkov, delegations of regions participating in AIRR headed by governors, members of the coordinating and general councils of Delovaya Rossiya, and heads of regional branches of the organization took part in the forum.

Speaking at the forum, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan - Chairman of the Council of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia (AIRR) Rustam Minnikhanov said that Russian President Vladimir Putin set the task of entering the top ten world scientific powers by 2030. "Priorities and areas of scientific and technological development have been defined," Minnikhanov said. "And we thank the Government and ministries for their joint work with the regions." The Rais of Tatarstan emphasized that today 18 regions are part of AIRR: "Today, our strategic partner, Vladimirskaya Oblast, will join the AIRR. And the total number of regions participating in AIRR will grow to 19."

“The Association of Innovative Regions of Russia makes 25% of the gross national product of our country, taking into account innovative products - 37%," Minnikhanov specified. The Rais of the republic also noted the timeliness of the agreement signed with Delovaya Rossiya - under the Petersburg Economic Forum in 2024. According to him, this agreement sets the right direction for joint movement to achieve technological leadership of the country within the tasks set by Vladimir Putin.
