Rustam Minnikhanov congratulates internal affairs officers with their professional holiday: For most of you your service is not just work but a vocation and the purpose of life

On 8 November in the Ceremonial Hall of the Russian Internal Ministry for Tatarstan the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn meeting dedicated to the Day of the Internal Affairs Officers of Russia annually held on 10 November.

At a solemn ceremony held on the eve of the professional holiday the regional Minister of Internal Affairs Damir Satretdinov and the Chairman of the Security Council of the republic Rafail Guilmanov handed in keys from 55 business cars allocated by Russian Internal Ministry.

In his congratulatory speech Rustam Minnikhanov said: “For most of you your service is not just work but a vocation and the purpose of life. We know how difficult your service is but you are drawing your duties with flying colours continuing the best traditions of the Soviet militia.”

Having thanked the officers for their courage, loyalty to oath and duty, the Rais of the republic also expressed his gratitude to the administration and the staff of the Internal Ministry for having implemented tasks in ensuring law and order during numerous events held in the republic and first of all during the XVI BRICS Summit.

“I would like to say special words about officers who are in the zone of the special military operation today. After Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson and Zaporozhe reunited with Russia your work has become even more important. Shoulder to shoulder with the military and colleagues from other law enforcement structures you solve the most important tasks in new territories. Bow low to you for your courage, exemplary service and brining the long awaited victory closer,” Rustam Minnikhanov said and emphasized: “I am sure you will continue solving the set tasks professionally and responsibly and serve your Fatherland honestly and faithfully.”

After the Chief Federal Inspector for Tatarstan Viktor Demidov, the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, the Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the republic Yuri Kamaltynov, the Chief of the Staff of the Rais of the republic Asgat Safarov and the regional Internal Minister Damir Satretdinov also congratulated the participants of the meeting with their professional holiday, Rustam Minnikhanov handed in a number of Tatarstan state and Ministry awards to the most outstanding officers.
