Giving his assessment to the work done on the new highway, the Rais of the republic said: “The new four lane road will make it possible to improve transport accessibility in the republic and facilitate further development of the Kama (industrial) cluster. Today we have again seen that due to well-coordinated work of the ordering customer, professional road workers and bridge builders it is possible to implement such a large scale project on a tight schedule without compromising quality and safety.”
The transport bypass of Nizhnekamsk and Naberezhnyye Chelny will move transit traffic from the cities and unload the road network of agglomerations. It will also cut the travelling time from Kazan to Nizhnekamsk by nearly an hour.
