“Dear Tatarstan residents!

I sincerely congratulate you on the Day of the Constitution of the Republic of Tatarstan!

Its adoption by the Supreme Council of Tatarstan in 1992 laid the legal foundations for the development of the republic at the turning point of the eras, during the period of reforms and related changes in Russian society. The Constitution of the Republic of Tatarstan defined the state structure, socio-economic policy directions, established the priority of human and civil rights and freedoms, as well as equal opportunities for all Tatarstan residents.

The norms and regulations adopted in the document, as well as their implementation, have made it possible to ensure stability in difficult times and have brought citizens together. By preserving the historically established unity of the peoples living in the republic, their traditions and values, developing culture and languages, our friendly relations, we have become an example of inter-ethnic and interfaith harmony.

Today, Tatarstan is a leading region with comfortable atmosphere to live, work and create families. We set goals and build plans based on the Basic Law, consistently implementing them. Due to the support of the federal center and personally Russian President Vladimir Putin, as well as creative work of Tatarstan, the republic maintains high rates of economic development and improves quality of life of people.

The Constitution of Tatarstan plays an important consolidating role, which is particularly important in the context of a special military operation. We are proud of our homeland and the native republic, our multi-ethnic people. It is the duty of each of us to respect state symbols, to observe laws and protect our homeland.
