Rustam Minnikhanov: Integrity is especially important under conditions when enemies of the country are trying to split our society

On 2 November the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov gave an errand to ensure safety of residents during the coming holidays. 

“On 4 November we will celebrate the National Unity Day. This holiday has a special meaning as more than four centuries ago our ancestors united and freed their native land from foreign invaders. Integrity is especially important under conditions when enemies of the country are trying to split our society and set people on loggerheads using ethnic and religious pretexts”, he said and stated that solemn events dedicated to the holiday will be held all over cities and regions of the republic.

Rustam Minnikhanov also congratulated residents of the republic with the religious holiday of the Icon of the Kazan Virgin to be celebrated on 4 November and emphasized that all the coming events must be organized at the highest level stepping up public safety and order measures.

November 6 is the Day of the Constitution of Tatarstan and Rustam Minnikhanov said: “The main law was passed during large scale changes in the society. And it still remains our main documentsguaranteeing rights and freedoms of citizens, ensuring preservation of historical, national and spiritual traditions, culture and languages of our ethnicities and is the stable foundation  for the civic peace and concord and the successful social and economic development of the republic.” In conclusion he congratulated everybody with the coming holiday.
