Rustam Minnikhanov meets Head of the Rosstat Sergey Galkin

On 28 October, speaking at his meeting with the Head of the Federal State Statistics Service (Posstat) Sergey Gaskin in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that statistics is a key management tool for the development of the country and its regions. Tatarstan attaches great attention to the quality of data collection and analysis and actively introduces digital technologies which ensure high speed of information processing and its accuracy, he said.

At the meeting it was stated that the regional body of the Federal State Statistics Service (Tatarstanstat) fulfills its work at a high organizational level and the republic provides comprehensive support to statistics bodies supplying them with computer equipment and free Internet-traffic and helping during such large-scale events as the population census.
