Rais of Tatarstan holds a meeting with small oil companies of Tatarstan

On 28 October in the Government House of the republic the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting with heads of small oil companies of the republic, where its participants discussed results of their work for nine months of the current year and tasks till the end of 2024.

Speaking at the meeting, the Rais of the republic informed that even though the Urals crude oil price dropped by 23.6 per cent as compared to the last year, the oil production dynamics in Russia is defined by its liabilities within OPEC+.

He said that oil production in the republic during the nine months exceeded 25.4m tonnes “with small companies having produced 5.2m tonnes of oil.” “About 209bn rubles have been sent to all levels of the budget which is much more compared to the same period last year,” Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized.

The Deputy Director General of the Nefteconsortzium MNK Oleg Vyshenskity informed that by the end of the year small oil companies are planning to produce no less than 7m tonnes of oil and reported that 24 of them have already fulfilled the yearly plan.

The Deputy Head of the Volga region Directorate of the Rostechnadzor (Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service) Dmitriy Gorev reported about situation with industrial safety at hazardous production facilities and checks carried out in labour safety requirements.

Speaking to heads of oil companies, Rustam Minnikhanov said: “The issue of industrial safety is always important. Our task is to ensure safety of people working at production site. This is your responsibility.”
