Rustam Minnikhanov about BRICS Summit: Tatarstan once again has proved that it can solve the most difficult tasks

On 26 October, speaking at a regular regional meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that the BRICS Summit in Kazan was held at the highest organizational level and Tatarstan once again has proved that it can solve the most difficult tasks.

The Summit took place on 22-24 October and Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that during its chairmanship in BRICS and the Summit, Russia has demonstrated to the collective West not only the absence of any isolation of our country but also a huge diplomatic victory.

Representatives of 36 countries took part in the Summit, delegations of 24 of them being presided by leaders of their countries. Heads of six international organizations, including the General Secretary of the UN Antonio Guterres also came to Kazan.

“Holding such an important event in Kazan shows huge trust of the administration of the country. We have made out with this task with good grace. The Russian President and leaders of other countries highly evaluated our work,” Rustam Minnikhanov said and thanked residents of Kazan and all those who took part in the organization of the Summit.

He also reminded that all these days there is a scientific and industrial exhibition “Made in Tatarstan” organized in front of the State Council of the republic and 29 delegations and more than one thousand people have already visited it.
