Tatarstan Ministry of Construction: as many as 2m 921 thousand square meters of housing or 93 per cent of the planned commissioned in Tatarstan

On 26 October, speaking at a regional meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of the Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via video conference, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin has reported that the total plan of the housing commissioning in the republic has been completed by 93 per cent with 2m 921 thousand square meters commissioned.

He also informed about the amount of work done in commercial, social mortgage and individual housing construction and providing accommodation for separate categories of residents such as orphans and families with many children.

Damir Shaydullin told participants of the meeting about work being done in the spheres of education, healthcare, sports, youth policy and culture and the completion of work by two regional programmes of social facilities construction.

He also informed about situation in the national projects of Ecology and Improvement of Public Spaces as well as about modernization of the engineering infrastructure in the republic.

The reginal Deputy Minister reported that the work on reconstruction of gas distribution and houses gas networks has been completed in Aksubayevo and Yelabuga regions of the republic and the federal programme “Modern Look of Rural Territories” have been completed by 99 per cent.

In conclusion he informed about checks on labour safety at construction sites carried out since the beginning of the year and measures taken for violations prevention.
