On October 25, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin had a meeting with the head of the Presidential Administration of Mongolia Gombojavyn Zandanshatar, who arrived on a working visit in Tatarstan and to participate in the BRICS Summit.
Pesoshin welcomed Zandanshatar on behalf of the Government of Tatarstan and expressed hope that the visit to the republic and today's meeting, in particular, will be a new impetus for successful and long-term cooperation.
"Development of partnership between Russia and Mongolia is an important task that contributes to strengthening mutually beneficial relations," he said.
“We highly appreciate the opportunity to establish interaction between Tatarstan and Mongolia and are ready to contribute to strengthening Russian-Mongolian relations at our level”, Pesoshin also emphasized.
He recalled that in recent years, there has been an increase in trade between Mongolia and Tatarstan.
He gave a detailed presentation of a number of economic and industrial sectors of the region, as well as some innovative projects.
“We also hope to create new joint projects and further expand cooperation in the field of supply of products produced by enterprises of Tatarstan”, Pesoshin said. He also recalled that the interaction can be established through Tatarstan Investment Development Agency and other entities. The Prime Minister thanked the delegation of Mongolia for visiting Tatarstan.
In his turn, the head of the Administration of the President of Mongolia emphsiazed that there are opportunities for cooperation in tourism, agriculture and some other areas.
